Maya Belsitzman & Matan Ephrat are a couple both in life and music, creating their own unique sound, based on their instruments – Cello, Voice and Drums. A special production for the Liturgical Festival in Nazareth, combining liturgical music, modern Hebrew classics, original instrumentals and more. With the Arab-Jewish Polyphony Quartet. The repertoire will
include works of a ceremonial nature, special adaptations of ancient Piyutim (such
as Yadid Nefesh and Tsam'a Nafshi), alongside modern "Piuotim" (such
as Meir Ariel's Mode Ani), which are used as a contemporary prayer in the
mouths of many Israelis in our generation. This will be played alongside
instrumental works and arrangements of well-known songs, that the duo has embraced
to their repertoire during in a dozen years of musical collaboration
.
