Soprano Rania Ateek was born in Nazareth. She was a member of the Meitar Opera Studio and nowadays participates in the Israel Opera productions, including the role of Alice in Alice in wonderland. Graduated with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the class of Anat Efrati and Dr. Ido Ariel. Her operatic repertoire is vast and her liturgic repertoire includes the solo parts in Mozart's Requiem and Faure's Requiem. Sings as a soloist concerts with various ensembles including the Ra'anana Symphony Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Galilee Chamber Orchestra and others.
