The festival opens with four artists who have become an integral part of its
musical identity, all familiar and beloved by the festival’s regular audience and by
the local Nazareth community. Nour Darwish, Rania Ateek, Dorin Sassin, and
Nardin Ballan join the Galilee Chamber Orchestra for a program filled with good
spirits, featuring works by Gluck, Bach, Vivaldi, and Schubert. It is a festive,
luminous musical beginning to the festival.
