Soprano Tal Ganor was born in Tel Aviv. She graduated from The Buchmann – Mehta School of music in Tel Aviv University. In 2012 she won the Aviv Competitions- The Michal Oren Prize for Voice and The Meira Geyra Audience Choice Prize.
Ganor was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Meitar Opera Studio and participated in the Académie du Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, the Belcanto Academy “Rodolfo Celletti” in Martina Franca and the IVAI opera programs in Virginia and in Tel Aviv.
She performed Belinda in Dido & Aeneas, Dorinda in Orlando, Drusilla in L’Incoronazione di Poppea, Amore in Orfeo ed Euridice, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, Tebaldo and Voce dal cielo in Don Carlo and Monica in The Medium.
Ganor performs with the Israeli Opera, the Israel Philharmonic, Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca, Barrocade Ensemble, Israel Camerata, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Cappella Mediterranea and Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia.
The America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Buchman – Mehta School of Music, the Israeli Vocal Arts Institute, Eli Leon, Basser and the Martina Franca Rotary Club have awarded her scholarships.
