Fadi Deeb, Piano

Pianist Dr. Fadi Deeb has distinguished himself in numerous competitions, capturing the 1st prize at the Marcel Khalife Competition and the Roma per Jerusalem Competition (2008), Palest”In&out (2015) and Ackerman Chamber Music Competition (2015). Deeb established himself in New York by winning the 2012 Stony Brook Concerto Competition. He delivered his American concerto debut with the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra playing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Deeb is the recipient of many scholarships and prizes including the Qattan Foundation Scholarship, the Jerusalem Academy Presidential Prize, and a prestigious Fulbright Grant. He graduated from Stony Brook University where he studied with Professor Gilbert Kalish, receiving the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts. Deeb gave performances at the world’s most prestigious concert venues, such as Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and Lincoln center NY. Released couple of albums with the GB label: Piano Music of Palestinian Composers and Amin Nasser – Complete Piano Compositions. Dr. Deeb lecturers at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance.
