David Sofer is a pianist, conductor, and musical educator. A graduate of Tel Aviv University’s Academy of Music, David holds a bachelor's degree in orchestra conducting. David has conducted a range of prominent orchestras, including the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Galilee Chamber Orchestra and more. Acts as the principal conductor and musical director of the Telma Yelin Symphony Orchestra and the Technion Orchestra. David’s role extends beyond conducting, as the headmaster of the Municipal Conservatory in Herzliya and music director of the Alhan program for musical education by Polyphony. His initiatives at Alhan and Zlilim Shluvim programs, underscore his belief in the transformative power of music, bridging communities and enriching education through artistic collaboration.
